An affiliate system handles the affiliate accounts by tracking which affiliates have referred visitors to the website, and rewards them with a specific commission based on what the referred visitor did on the website (purchases, sign ups, etc). Affiliates use the affiliate referral link/URL to promote your website or products. Specific affiliates are tracked because their IDs or usernames are appended to their URL, therefore the system can track which affiliate link brought a customer to your website. If the customer successfully completes a conversion (i.e. a sale, or a form submission), a referral will be generated and the affiliate will be awarded a commission. For a better understanding of the main Affiliate system workflow :

SignUp Referrals

for every visitor that comes through their affiliate link and signs up on your website...User Bob visits your website through Smith’s affiliate link. Bob registers on your website. Smith now receives 2 USD..but if someone buys a product with your affiliate link you receive 25% of the payments in commissions, according to your rank

wallet

your users can deposit their unpaid referrals in their wallet. They can select a service and an amount to deposit, then they will receive a coupon for that service for that amount, which they can use to purchase items etc.

LifeTime Commissions

Bob visits your website through Smith’s affiliate link. Bob makes a purchase and Smith receives revenue. Bob then changes computers, or cleans his cookies and comes back to your website. If Bob makes another purchase Smith will not receive revenue, because the user-affiliate connection is lost. With LifeTime Commissions active, it does not matter from where Bob logs in, his account is tied to affiliate Smith.

Coupons

allows you to assign an external coupon code to one or more affiliates. Whenever a user makes a purchase with that coupon, the linked affiliate(s) will automatically receive revenue (coupon amount).
